Eye doctors can become very annoying trying to convince you to start wearing contacts and glasses again, I know from experience. Eventually they sometimes get rude and start trying to scare or threaten you into it. Unfortunately mine is like this, and I just received a letter from them to schedule an appointment which I both dread and fear.

So when they reach that rude threatening point, there's not much you can due but sit back, relax, and take their endless stream of crap. Try using the following expressions to convey feedback for the types of things they tell you until they give you time to talk

If they tell you something about your eyes

If they say something around the lines of "your eyes will get worse if you don't wear glasses"

Some other expressions you will probably find useful

Some other useful tips to make their social engineering scheme hopeless:

1: Never make eye contact.
2: If you somehow make eye contact, never break that eye contact.
3: Make sure they know that your order of glasses is 'To go'
4: Try and take the conversation to unrelated and pointless topics, preferably ones they won't understand (ex: "I think the quantum locking Theroy has some real potential!" or, redirect the conversation to the best eye techniques for finding Waldo.)
5: Ask if they could give your pet a pescription to ruin it's eyes too.
6: Get a pet parakeet and bring him along.

Immature? Yes. Funny? Definitely.

Hey funny as he...ck!
I hate going to the eye doc. Constant pressure to sell lasik. They can't fit me with any strength glasses because my vision is clear; so all lenses they try to sell produce extreme blur, glaring lines of lights, immediate headache... Without glasses I see fine. I made sure they kept my test and the fact that they cannot prescribe glasses on my record. I left the glasses with them after stepping on them, crushing the frames, lens so they can't try to re-sell to anyone else. The eye doctor just hid in the back room and let the secretary try to sell glasses and give pamphlets for lasik.

Those machines they have us look into poorly simulate distant... vision. It's not the true distance the chart, letters are at so normal convergence, divergence, accommodation, un-accommodation is imperfect when looking in the machine-in my opinion-.

Why won't they just let us read a paper chart on the wall at the real distance? Because then we can use our eyes naturally, normal during the exam, no neck tension, relaxed free eye movement... and pass the exam; no prescription sales.
