i have noticed that my eyes feel much more relaxed and im fairly sure i can see a bit better when wearing glasses for prolonged periods of time (im myopic)

is not the "theory" right now that you should not wear glasses because they do the work of your eyes so there for your eye muscles are relaxed and you should gain better eyesight
* if you do things to further relax them ( palming and sunning )
* if you do not strain them by reading or looking close for prolonged periods of time (try to look farther than closer most of the time)
*this is only for myopic people in my opinion since the opposite need to strengthen their eyes instead of relax them

(i have noticed that people around me are keeping their vision intact or the same if they wear glasses while i don't and lose some ( i probably do more close work then them but still)

this is entirely based on my observations i have not searched or researched any of this so i dont know im only 16 (not that that means anything)

I'd add a 3rd point:
* if your glasses are under-corrected, say to 20/40

This gives the eyes "wiggle room" to improve, where a strong 20/20 prescription (or even stronger) keeps your current habitual strain locked in place. As you improve, move to a lower prescription so you'll keep improving. You can stay at any level if you're comfortable enough there. Some people don't mind wearing glasses at all.

Regarding deteriorating vision: I'm not sure if you have this problem, but I did at one point, so it's worth considering. When you do eye exercises and anything else related to vision improvement, be careful that you aren't making the vision even worse. It's a delicate balance, because you have to be aware of what you're doing without causing unnecessary strain from worrying. Basically, if you feel that you're doing what you're supposed to do and your vision is still getting worse, you might want to investigate and see if you're doing anything incorrectly. At one point, I remember that I thought I was "searching for details" when in fact I was staring and locking the image in place!!

well i do not really do eye "exercises" i just try to relax them as much as possible eye messages, palming and sun gazing with closed eyelids and if i feel like im fully or almost fully relaxed direct gazing at the sun for couple seconds followed by sun gazing (this is probably the only thing i can be doing wrong) also it dosent help that most of my day is spent looking at a close distance like 12in or less from a screen or a piece of paper or book also i dont really remember to look up and relax always especially in school
