It does look like a promising routine if the objective is to keep the eyes clean and free from dryness and infections. But I dont think it can help cure myopia which essentially requires you to relax all the eye muscles which can happen only if you attain central fixation of the mind. Can lemon juice help with that? I dont think so....
If you want to try it go ahead and please report on your experiences. But be careful when putting anything into the eyes( wash your hands well, make sure the solution is pure) - you can easily get an infection otherwise.

Tears contain layers; oil, water, salt, something else, i think proteins or other nutrients, anti bacteria substance.
I read that continual use of eye drops is addictive, drys the eyes, cornea and lowers the eyes normal production of tears.

I used to do that.
It was quite interesting.
I felt like it helped reduce eye fatigue when I was working late in the evening. I was actually quite refreshing.
Make sure you put very little lemon juice in there. It's ok if it stings a little, but if it gets to the point where it's painful, dilute the solution!
Ram: it doesn't do anything to the muscles directly, but it does help with tired dry eyes. I'd say it helps alleviate strain, even if it does so indirectly.

I've tried this method 2 times and it works great, it seems to flood blood into your eyes. I want to do this daily since my eyes are always tired, but there is a problem. I don't think that in Romania we have such a thing as an eye cup. I did it with the sink full of water and more than a few drops of lemon juice. Is there any alternative to an eye cup that I can use?

I just placed my head in the sink full of water.
Obviously, I can't use the sink every morning. Besides, I have to squeeze half a lemon for that.

One question though: is this treatment completely safe? I mean if you make a mistake and the juice gets into your eyes. I sometimes have tense eyelids that open on their own so is there any danger of infection, etc? I know somebody that went blind after a severe infection with some substance.

You do it with open eyes.

Really? Oh, so that's why it's supossed to sting and you need purified water. I've tried it two times with my eyes closed and it worked, but I suposse it is more powerful with the eyes open. Thanks for the info everyone. I always have tired dry eyes and eye drops don't seem to work on me.
