RECENT PAST EVENTS


Location: Genova, Italy
Date: October 28 - 30, 2005

The organiser is the AIEV, Italian Association for Vision Education, which has already organized three Italian conferences for holistic vision. The world of vision improvement in Italy (of which AIEV is a central pillar) can also boast: an important on-line discussion forum on Natural Vision Improvement (and several smaller ones); several important web sites; a couple of fanzines (on paper); the opening of a School for Vision Improvement/Bates method teachers (founded and run by AIEV) and a steady increase in sessions and workshops.

Location: Madeira Island, Portugal
Date: Oct 29 - 31, 2004 / workshops Oct 27 - Nov 2

Speakers came from several countries all over the world. Keynote speakers were Roberto Kaplan, Ray Gottlieb, Sameer Al Kasab, and Meir Schneider. Pages are available in English, Portugese, French, and German.


Location: Oakland, CA, USA
Date: May 22-23, 2004 / workshops May 24 - 31

About 90 people were in attendance, including vision improvement teachers, several optometrists, and even a couple of ophthalmologists. There was a strong emphasis on the Bates method, but a variety of other approaches were featured as well.
