OK, last reply here. I interpreted what you said as "Nancy, you have weak eyes and a weak neck!' and almost deleted your comment. You think I need to be less sensitive, and I think you need to be more diplomatic in sharing your thoughts. And I have been right a few times too. :) OK?

They are not always expert... They may become experts.
Most people are not.
They have to verify though
And everybody has blind spots... even an expert...or an advanced like you

Not if you think in the following way.
You have to remember everybody said their point of view.
My conclusion looking at your dream and your life context.

That is my opinion. However, I have been right many times
And It seems dreams have universal meaning for many people in many cases, in my experience.
Yes, it were my dreams... even if it is your dream
I do not like that. I say my own opinion. You have to filter what people tell you.
It is very hard.
However, yes you have to check in yourself if you agree with it.
You have to verify.

So if you find this pushy what I wrote...It could mean your self defense mechanism are not strong enough.. Despite of all that work you invested?

It's true that people who are nearsighted often have a stiff neck. This can also be resistance to what feels like overwhelming input, bracing yourself. This was probably true of me in my childhood with those heavy thick glasses on my face, much less so now with all the physical work I've done and my Alexander Technique training. And if I may say so, I've been taught to respond to someone else's dream with "If it was my dream it reminds me of ...." rather than "Your dream means such-and-such" or "Your dream means you should ...", which comes across as too pushy and taking the power away from the dreamer. The dreamer is always the true expert on his or her dream. Thanks for your input.

Charlotte, I cannot be your personal vision consultant :) unless you are a client of mine. I admire your inquisitive nature and positive attitude, both of which will pull you forward to whatever you want, including clearer vision. About actions and intention and manifestation, these all need to be in alignment to achieve your goals. I work out regularly because I want to stay strong and fit, and I do regular eye practices because I want to keep and improve my already good vision. Action supports intention -- you can't just sit on the couch and wait for your dreams to be fulfilled without doing anything to support them. Take care.

I see, glasses can be a bit annoying at times. I mean, that's the whole reason why I'm here!

I hope you don’t mind me asking so many questions by the way, but you've read The Secret right? The Secret explains the significance of living like you've already manifested your desire, kind of like fake it till you make it. But at the same time, with the law of attraction, as The Secret mentions, if you want something, you must take action to achieve it. Since I'm working on manifesting perfect vision, I have been doing eye exercises daily, because I have heard that it is beneficial and can help with bad eye sight. However, I realized that by doing eye exercises, aren't I contradicting my manifestation? I'm living like I have manifested 20/20 vision, yet what I am practicing only reinforces the opposite, that I have bad vision...because the only reason for me to do them, is because my vision is bad.

Isn't this an issue? Wouldn’t this slow down my manifestation? My actions are contradicting my beliefs. Yet it is important to take action so I can get closer to my manifestation, right? I have stopped my bad habit of holding everything I read, specifically, my phone, so close to my face, and I give my eyes periodic breaks when using electronics. What do you think?

Hi again Charlotte. When I stopped wearing contacts and switched back to glasses, it was much easier to take them off, and I disliked them so much I did this more and more often, for longer periods of time. :) Of course the improvement didn't happen by magic (or maybe it did!) -- I think my good healthy habits and Bates practices encouraged it.

Hi Nancy, thank you for replying so quickly!

I completely agree with you, about how dreams can help guide us. I understand what you mean about the risks of making a deadline at such an early time in my journey, and now thinking about it, you're right! Despite being able to manifest a few things in the past, at times when things didn't work out as I was hoping, it really would really drain me, but over time I've learned how to deal with it in a more positive manner. I do sometimes get a moment of clearer vision, it usually lasts like for about a second , but I always say thank you. I've always been a very optimistic and bright person, so it isn't hard for me to keep a positive mindset throughout the day. I always thank myself, my eyes, the universe, for all the good things that happen to, and for me. Even when the room around me appears blurry, I always say "Thank you, my eyes are so healthy. I love my eyes! I can already see that my eyesight is improving!" I always stay positive.

When I read your story, you mentioned how after switching from contacts to glasses, you stopped having to wear your glasses for prolonged periods of time. Did your eyesight just naturally improve on its own?

Hi Charlotte! I definitely believe dreams guide us forward, sometimes "seeing around the corner" for us when we're not sure what's coming. I want to caution you about all-or-nothing thinking, that if you don't have crystal clear vision at all times by your aggressive deadline, that means you've failed. To me if you have one momentary clear flash of improved vision, you've succeeded, because if you continue good seeing habits, that moment will expand. My only advice now is to appreciate every single time you see more clearly, maybe saying "thank you!" out loud, rather than focus on the blur. If you'd like to set up a free consultation with me, to see if my coaching could help further, you can do so at https://nancylneff.com/discovery.htm. And keep dreaming! :)

Hi Nancy, I found your website because I'm happening to have similar dreams about my eyesight too! I have been wearing glasses for six years now, and after finishing the Secret not long ago, I am determined to heal my eyesight and restore it back to perfection. Ever since starting my self healing journey this Monday, June1st, I have had dreams of having amazing, crystal clear vision. The previous night, I had asked the universe to show my signs of its support to my goal of getting my vision back. I believe these dreams is the universe, God, and/or my guardian angels encouraging me. I am so motivated by this. Do you have any advice that could help me restore my vision? I have set a deadline, that this Friday, June 5th, 2020 I WILL have 20/20 vision. As long as I believe, I don’t know how it will heal, but I know it WILL happen. And so as long as I believe and trust, it will happen. I think it would be great if you could give me some advice to help me along my journey! I believe the universe has a reason to have guided me to your page. I am happy to recieve your guidance.

And so as long as I believe and trust, it will happen. I think it would be great if you could give me some advice to help me along my journey! I believe the universe has a reason to have guided me to your page. I am happy to recieve your guidance.

Hi Annie, and thanks for commenting. I've been taught that while we dream our logical (that's not possible!) mind which is so active when we're awake is suppressed, so our creativity and wonder and sense of fun come to the fore. I think this is what seeing with the eyes of a child is all about, and I try to remember it every day. See well and be well!

Thanks Nancy for your post which I found uplifting. I specially like the one about Jim C, oR rather about having fun. I do believe that our thinking takes too much room in our lives, we need to let go and the best way to do that is through enjoying ourselves.
Your dreams are very vivid, just as vivid as your eyesight hopefully.
Take care.
