Thank you so much for your reply, so if he does the palming without pressing the eyeballs, it can really help with glaucoma right? because right now there are 2 doctors with 2 different methods that come with extreme consequence, which is blindness, if not doing what they see best. The first one recommended my dad to do the palming, or what he called as eye massage, along with using eye drops regulary. The second doctor recommended him to do the laser and stop with the palming or else it could bline him. Therefore, I would like to know whether the palming method is really working in term of curing the glaucoma or should we go with the laser and maybe surgery after that. I am so thankful for your reply. Thank you so much for taking your time.

In reply to Maria. The only thing I can think of is he must have been pressing on his eyes with his palms? If he were covering his eyes without touching his closed eyelids then there's no reason an eye doctor would warn him against it.

Hello, may I ask more about the palming since my dad has been doing it for sometimes by the recommendation of a doctor in my country, however, they are some other doctors who have told my dad to stopping it or else it could blind him, which it worries our family so much. Therefore, I would like to ask of how to do the palming properly and does this method works because we do believe that it do work but got a very frighten warning from doctors. It would be a huge benefit if you could give use some clarity. Thank you so much for your time.

In reply to Martine Free. Bates had a number of other methods, and variations of them, he wrote about in his book and magazine. More importantly it's about the overall approach, getting you to relax your eyes and use them more appropriately. People have come up with many new exercises, but without the right context they aren't that helpful.

thank you for this inspiring and accurate information- not trying to sell products but to teach principles of health and well-being in an instance (glaucoma) where the medical profession is all doom and gloom. Very much appreciated – I found this at exactly the right time 🙂
