Subject: Why a medical doctor believes that the Bates method is false.
If you are taught in medical school that the eye
is PROVEN to be a "box-camera", then you mind is
indeed FROZEN on that concept. Once it is frozen
in that way -- you will never be able to
understand that this is a crude "tradition" that
has little strength in pure science.
Personally, I do not use the term "exercise" nor "cure", since
these terms should not be used to described
the proven dynamic behavior of the fundamental eye.
But here is the "classic" objection to prevention
(by any means). Dr. Bates, Dr. Prentice, Dr. Raphaelson,
and many others in Science and Engineering.

But perhaps the blindness of these assumptions
can be described this way:
The intuitive mind is a sacred gift
and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have
created a society that honors the servant and has
forgotten the gift.
