Are there any patient's who have received treatment from Dr Bate's himself or Emily that are still alive? I'm surprised they do not talk about it.

This question came up a year or so ago (and probably before that) - but Dr. Bates' patients would be 100+ by now. The children he 'treated' were mostly pre-teens, and that was in the 1920's: 90 years ago. Emily's wouldn't be much younger. Many of Margaret Darst Corbett's might still be around, though, since her 'practice' was going strong into the 1950's. However, even if the 'patients' themselves aren't around, it would be interesting to interview their children.
