If this device works, I suspect it helps maintain or improve a person's subconscious (or conscious for some) awareness of their eye muscle tension, therefore "reminding" them of what is needed to see clearly. They therefore would be less susceptible to developing chronic muscle strain in their eyes.

However, it obviously would not teach proper vision habits. The person may spend 8 hours a day staring at their computer screen, then spend 10 minutes refreshing their eyes' memory of relaxation. They might maintain their clear vision, or improve their vision, but to me that's like a high-tension-stressed-out person taking prevacid for their excess stomach acid when they should be changing their lifestyle.

I do a lot of "collecting" of these various methods,
concepts and "sales".

But Bates was right -- your must "see" your way
to the method that is best for you.

And that is what Dave's site is all about.
