heres some guys summary about various studys on myopia:

as i understand he strongly sugests plus glasses for reading and other near range work. Also he's not denying Bates metod, though sceptical in some places.

The material is very scientific, and I like some of it like nutrition. But for me, it's too much of a scientific/organic/physical approach to visual health that entirely ignores the role that the mind and psyche play.
