I`m thinking about buying it because when I massage some of those spots with my fingers, I feel very relaxed.
Be careful. People that sell these things don't warn about the possible accidents.
A buddy of mine used one of those neck massagers; http://www.walkinbackrub.co.uk/Homedics-...ger/91.htm It was different than this one shown. The moving machine parts on the sides of the neck would move inward more and rub the neck. It seems the manufactures stopped making those kind but the new ones can still be dangerous. My friend relaxed, laying the neck in it. He almost fell asleep and his head turned right; the massager parts pushed into his neck and dislocated 2 vertebrae.
I have an eye massager. It makes my eyes more relaxed and it feels really nice even after a few minutes. other than that i don't think it really improves eyesight in the long run. Clarknight i think you are overly critical about everything. eye massager-dangerous, contacts-dangerous, ortho-k dangerous, eye "exercises"-dangerous.

eye massager-dangerous; Yes. It moves, vibrates. Look at the prongs that can slip and move into the eye.
contacts-dangerous; the eye, cornea change shape on their own and more with use of Natural Vision Improvement as the eye, cornea return to normal shape. Contacts are never a perfect fit. They do often cause cornea, eye injury. Also the drops, cleaning solutions contain harmful chemicals. ortho-k dangerous; forcing the cornea to change shape by placing incorrect size contacts on the cornea. Increases the risk. Very easy to injure the eye.
eye "exercises"-dangerous; I am talking about the auto stereograms, magic eyes. It has caused strabismus, double vision. That stuff should be done by a eye doctor only. Stretching the eyes looking far left, right without moving the head. This can cause tension in the eye muscles, head, neck. One yoga like practice done relaxed, only occasionally might be is ok.
Pro eyeglasses people come on here sometimes advising, trying to sneak in a advertisement for the harmful cataract, detached retina, astigmatism... causing PLUS LENS, anti-corrective method but people always speak up and tell the truth about what they are advising.
Thanks for the post. Gave me a good idea to place the contact lens warning videos on my website, blog. I always learn things that help people when I come to iblindness, even when a adversary posts.
I don't get into answering many questions in PM's because questions answered in PM's may help others, bunch of people all at once if they were placed on the Forum or in one of the articles, blogs on the website.

clarknight there are risks with everything in life. Driving a car is probably more dangerous than using contacts. Using a knife to cut vegetables is probably more dangerous than a eye massager. why attack everything and causing needless panic? I personally don't use contacts but many of my friends with high myopia do use contacts during sports. Do you recommend they play sports essentially blind? I'm not against natural eyesight improvement but results can take a very long time. Most people simply do not have the time to care or make lifestyle changes. For example if someone's job depended on using the computer for 8 hours a day, he would certainly have very little success. Did you reverse your myopia personally or have you had good eyesight your whole life? Do you have any students that showed significant emprovement in a period of 6 months of less? I'm not attacking you personally i simply think that you should understand the benefits of certain things and that the risks are presumably small and also sometimes people do NEED instant solutions.

Contacts when playing sports? No way; Teachers warn; one blow to the eye can embed the contact into the eye, causing great harm, blindness. Only an eye doctor, optical person selling contacts without care for the persons sight would advise wearing contact lenses when playing sports.
I have many students that have obtained clear sight, some take a while, one took one and 1/2 years to cure +5 glasses addiction. But he kept wearing glasses. After he learned to reduce the prescription, now he's seeing clear, no glasses! He is teaching others successfully. He travels and is so smart. He's getting the word out worldwide. Some people are cured instantly. Just learning to shift and no glasses. Nothing else! Even some people with very strong glasses can obtain quick cures. The people that stop wearing glasses improve quicker. People on computer... can reduce their prescription gradually as they practice. My entire eyesight profile is on my website, YouTube videos and on this forum. Cured Myopia in high school. Around 20/40 to 20/60 I guess. Never was told the level or Mom and I just didn't understand. Left eye was most unclear. Neck injury caused by chiropractor really goofed up vision in 2009. Bates method and Physical Therapy corrected it.
I won't retype my info. over and over on here for people that are more interested in attacking The Bates Method than improving their vision.

Why don't you give the Bates Method a try instead of attacking it? And why focus solely on me? Too weird.

eye glass sales person -__- wow. I'm a high school sr with somewhat of low myopia and low astigmatism. Most of the time I can read the 20/30 line although its kind of blurry. I had been active my whole life with soccer, but stoppd due to an knee cap dislocation injury. I have been practicing the bates method for several months with slight improvements, nothing drastic. I can't really tell if its real improvement or natural variations in my eyesight. From what i understand for most of us the shape of the cornea determines our clarity. People who use ortho k can see much better in the morning (I' not advocating orthok) due to reshaping of the cornea (I know there are risk and I am not promoting it) The muscles my also play a part. Can you explain how a moderate myopia -3-4D cn achieve say 20/40 vision consistently in a few monrths or even in a year. the shape of the cornea would have to change drasticly. We are told by eye doctors that relaxing the extraocular muscles does nothing and the shape of the eye is not reversible. Is that a false claim? I was tested 20/15 vision in 8th grade so i would obviously like to regain that vision back without the use of uncomfortable contacts and glasses.
I am off this thread. Going to only threads where people want to practice the Bates method and improve their sight. Positive, healthy places where people do not attack each other. Dr Bates stated many times; the mind, emotions, thoughts influence eyesight.

You even deem an eye massager as dangerous and should be used with "extreme caution". my last post had some very legitimate questions and not a slight hint of malice.
