Could Gender be added to the user profile pages? I think it used to be there, but maybe it went away with an upgrade. It would be convenient to be able to quickly check whether a user is male or female, so I don't refer to him or her as what s/he is not.

or... alternatively... you could refer to him/her however you like. if you are wrong... AND... that person is overly concerned, they will correct you. if it is no big deal to the person to whom you refer, then it won't make any difference how you refer to them.

Like Jim, I tend to think it's easy enough to guess or not worry about it. I don't think I've seen any other forum out there that has this feature.
