I think I finally took care of the rash of spambots recently. They were getting through all the different countermeasures. I found one that worked to keep them out, at least for now.

So if you're subscribed to topics or forums, you shouldn't get any more false alarms of new posts in the thread or forum that end up being spambot posts.

If you are having trouble with spambots they you need the help of an experienced admin such as I.
