A few statements about this Forum compared to others;
If I would go to Otis's forums, groups on Yahoo... or the many other eyesight groups on the Internet, especially where Otis posts, including i-see.org, Daivd De Angelis' forum, Yahoo Bates method; If I say anything against the Plus Lens method, my comment is deleted or blocked before it's ever posted and sometimes I am banned from the Group.
If these Plus Lens, Anti-Corrective guys (eyeglass sales people in my opinion) come on here; they expect to have full freedom to advise these dangerous, destructive methods and use any deceitful tactics and subtle-sneaky or outright aggression.
One of the last times I posted the truth about the Plus lens causing cataracts, destroying the eyes health, vision on this forum; http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/batesmethod/conversations/topics my post was blocked. I am not allowed to speak against the Plus Lens method on that and other Forums.
I was trying to convince Julia Galvin to not use the plus lens method. She is a Bates Method teacher and helps many people for free on the internet and YouTube; http://www.youtube.com/user/BatesHappysight/videos
She had clear vision until Otis and others on that group talked her into trying the Plus lens method. I 'think' she used it, she was supporting it on the group. Then after a few months her vision went down.

She may now be back to clear vision due to abandoning the Plus lens and returning to solely the Bates Method. Will have to watch her newer videos. She has not mentioned the Plus lens but I suspect this is what caused her problem.
She also likes the Magic Eye books (3-cups) but these can also cause vision problems; astigmatism, double vision, wandering eyes. I prefer the magic eye method 'stereograms' to be in the Behavioral Optometrist's hands only and only if the Bates Method has not worked first. Stereograms should be used by the doctor only to correct strabismus. It's not a natural vision improvement tool.
