If you try to imagine darkness while palming, does it strain your eyes?  Should you imagine seeing perfectly while palming?  Can someone plz tell me how to palm and sun.

I guess you couldn't be wronger.

1) Central fixation is not an action but a state. You cannot "do" it but "be in it"
2) In the state of central fixation, you use your peripheral vision extensively, but only to notice that you see other points worse than the point you are regarding. Attempting not to "zone out", i.e. artificially narrowing your view field and trying to "focus" on a single point is exactly the mechanism of strain that causes you blur.
3) Don't use the word "focus" applied to your vision. It describes how strained eye is trying to see, not the way relaxed eyes see perfectly without any effort. Because words have power on our subconscious mind, if you use wrong words it won't let you get rid of the strain.

oh central fixation is when your eyesight is good.  You can't do it, but you can get to it by improving your vision.

Like Oleg said, central fixation is something you have or something you're in, but not really something you do. This is because it's done for you. In ordre to produce blur, you have to strain your eyes. The visual system is so perfectly put together and so capable of adaptation and adjustment that it is always capable of producing clear vision at any distance from a couple inches away to a virtually infinite distance. The only thing that can disrupt central fixation is strain. So the object of all the exercises is to learn to use your eyes without straining your eyes, so that they see with central fixation.

The reason we describe central fixation at all is because it does actually help to give you an idea of what you're aiming for, so that you know it's correct and can encourage it if it starts to happen, but not as something that you should actively try to produce. All the exercises are to get you there temporarily, again and again, so that you can learn to stay that way.

so I am right?  Anyways, I've got one more question.  How much should you blink per 10 seconds?  How should you breathe.  I heard that blinking and breathing helps the eyesight.

as much as your eyes need, there is no "standard" rate.  Some people with perfect sight blink every 2 seconds, others every 2 minutes.  Normally, the attempt to adjust the blinking rate causes strain.  Only in the case that the eyes are dry that some people blink more frequently.  It's HOW you blink that makes the big difference.
