references to natural vision in Movies - Jamie2820 - 06-09-2007
There's a scene in Star Wars near the end when Luke is about to blow up the death star. He's using his computer targeting goggle device thing (don't know what it's called)
"Use the force Luke....let go Luke....Luke trust me"
Then he stops using it and uses his own eyes to aim his shot.
Now I'm not saying the force is real (lol), just that it brings a tear to my eye when I see that scene.
There's also a scene at the end of Return of the Jedi with Luke and Vader.
"Help me take this mask off" "But you'll die" "Nothing can prevent that now. Just for once, let me look at you with my OWN eyes"
Anyone know of any other movies with scenes related to natural vision?
Jamie

Your pictures of Superman make me think of the bit in Superman 3 where 'good' superman (in clark kent guise) is fighting 'evil' superman. Evil superman crushes Kent's glasses with a look of hatred. It reminds me of the bit in Tom Quackenbush's book where he mentions childrens eyesight going bad because in class they are told to sit still and face the front (not move, point etc which is natural). The naughty rebelious kids usually have good eyesight because they rebell against these stupid teachers ideas. It's a bit messed up!

The scene in Spider Man where he put his glasses on and everything was blurry so he took them off and saw perfectly. Wouldn't that be cool?
