Question? - ahsanalishahid - 01-19-2008 Salaam and Hello to everyone! I have a question about bates method. Can u tell any person who have been cured with Bates method yet? Thanx Re: Question? - Urban - 01-19-2008 I'm not really sure what your asking for, that sentence was a little garbled. If you're looking for people who have cured their eyesight, there are some on this forum. If you're wondering if the Bates method really works, then yes it does. Re: Question? - Bryan - 01-19-2008 There are thousands and thousands of people who have been cured with the Bates method. Also there are some success stories on the Success Stories section of this forum. Re: Question? - otis - 01-19-2008 Dear Friend, I am not certain exactly what you mean by "cured". But if you mean that a person verified that his Snellen was blurry -- and he cleared it -- then this is the statement. <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.i-see.org/bershak.html">http://www.i-see.org/bershak.html</a><!-- m --> Now you are free to believe that clearing your Snellen is impossible. And the only true way you will know you cleared your Snellen -- is to do it -- by ANY method of your choice. Some people will succeed and some will not. There is no predicting the result. Re: Question? - ahsanalishahid - 01-19-2008 Actually Dear I want to know that how much time is required for the cure of eyesight???? Re: Question? - otto - 01-19-2008 Althougn the power of the prescription you have been wearing, the length of time you have worn them(e.g.: months, years, decades), and the amount of time spent wearing that prescription all can effect the difficulty of restoring perfect vision, the most important factor is your willingness and capacity for learning to relax your eyes. Theoretically, if one could notice and release all the strain present in their eyes they would be cured immediately! If you are asking how much time each week is required with the Bates method, Bates never to my knowledge specified. As much time as is comfortable for you, although less than 5 hours a week might be too little. Lessons learned over time from doing the techniques should be incorporated into your perpetual way of using your eyes throughout the day. Remember, positive results tend to come when the focus is completely off the goal, and instead, all attention is on the experience of doing the techniques. Chances are, if you are fixated on the goal, you will be greatly disheartened by the slowness of your progress and ultimately give up. Things that can increase your patience and awareness of your body include: meditation, yoga, prayer, fasting, qi gung, running, etc. Incidentally, if you read the Koran much try a very small print size. I second Otto's post. Re: Question? - otis - 01-20-2008 Question: Is it possible to clear your Snellen from 20/70 to normal? Question: How long will it take to do that? That is a fair question. Like Bates, I prefer to state the facts we know about the eye's behavior -- and let the person himself apply his own "theory". The facts, are that, when the method is properly applied BY THE PERSON HIMSELF, reading his Snellen and WORKING at it, it takes about six months to clear his vision back to normal. Want to disrespect these facts. ??? That is OK with me. Re: Question? - ahsanalishahid - 01-22-2008 Thanks to all of you for answering my question. ;D |
