The FairTax is a campaign to replace federal income taxes with a national retail sales tax, and shut down the IRS. It has slowly begun attracting a lot of interest and is supported by Ron Paul and a couple other candidates, but not by any of the the current leading candidates.
The so called "democratic process" is a mask for what really happens and how our society really works. Money is power in our society not voting. Who wins elections is mostly who has the most money to campaign. Many rich multi-millionaires outright become politicans, because this is how the Democratic Party compensates for the much better corporate fund-raising ability of the Republicans.
That's true, and the political system is pretty corrupt. But at least supporting something like this helps bring attention to it, even if it doesn't directly affect what happens, and it'll take a while for things to change. One or more nominees promised to pass it if he got elected. But the Federal Reserve is about the most dangerous company to mess with, and it would have severe consequences.
You forgot the part about the Council On Foreign Relations (CFR) being the organization which decides the presidency. I'm sure Ron Paul has talked about such groups before. It's not a conspiracy theory.
