Reading a license plate at 15 feet is definitely a clear flash. A 'clear vision event' is what I used to call it. Congratulations. You have just found a piece of your clear normal vision jigsaw puzzle...

I think my version of this method actually works. But all I'm doing is trying to look out of my worse-visioned eye as much as possible. I'm not creating more strain on purpose or anything.
