Im going to get reduced prescription glasses for around $15. I will just reduce the prescription diopter by 1. Is that ok. Should I remove the axis and/or cylindrical settings?

I have 3.75 diopters in both eyes, .25 clyndrical in both eyes, but 98 axis in left eye and 118 in right eye. I'm going to get glasses with diopters of 2.75. Is that ok?

jeez man some equation you got there for converting diopters to snellen. I can see 20/80. My cousin can see 20/40 or 20/50 with 1.75 diopters

i can't see 20/40 through -1.75 lenses. Dave once said that someone with 1.5 diopters can read 20/40 but someone else with 1.5 can read 20/80

What is the axis for? I know it has something to do with astigmatism. will it make a difference if i ignore the 116 and 98 degrees axis in my eye if I'm to get reduced prescription?

You can use reduced prescription lenses and still improve your eyesight. Use them only when you need them, like driving or when you need to read something off the board in school. I improved mine.

I got 20/80 when I went to an eye exam and they checked my eyes. I've read a snellen a month ago and had 20/80, and last 2 weeks and had 20/80

I also notice that when I looked at my finger close enough to see it perfectly like you said, my eyes shifted a lot in order to see all of it. I was also centralizing since i saw bit by bit. But my ...
