Dark patches under the eyes

Hi,

I have dark patches directly underneath my eyes. I remember reading about this in Bates' work(I can't remember where but I read it about a year ago). He said that people with normal vision do not get these dark patches underneath their eyes.
Why do you think this is..does anyone know anything about it?

Sinus pressure?
Low potassium, missing a nutrient in diet.
Eyeglasses cutting off circulation on cheekbones, nose?
I heard of a cause/cure for this somewhere but cant remember where.
How long you had this?
Some Italians have this 'darkened skin' under the eyes naturally.
Hormone fluxuations can cause it.

This is a sign of strain & toxins stuck in the body. Drink more water & get more sleep. Relax!

Perhaps you are deficient in B-12???

My instincts are that this is simply a sign of strain..and the muscles in this region being overly tense..I think it's as simple as that. But yeah, diet could be something to look into.

Was reading in Bates Medical Articles: not using central fixation, using eccentric fixation causes dark circles under the eyes.
