Dear Second-opinion friends,

Subject: People think that ONLY Dr. Bates promotes prevention.

Here is a Doctor who describes her own struggle to clear her vision to normal. It is not easy, and she describes the "exacerbation" of the minus lens, and "stair case myopa" developed from it as "doctor-caused". These second-opinion doctors are not "lunatics", but simply realistic about the difficulties, and necessity of prevention on the threshold, i.e., "functional myopia". In continue to "promote" the "cause" of all who object the the minus lens -- but admit the difficulties of that objection.
