Best Linght Color for Torch.

Well, standard is White, but i am wandering if there is a better color for a torch.

I noticed that a green LED, was a bit more Bright than my blue one, but it maybe just my eyes.
Also, i seen military torches in red and some others changing from white to red or other colors.

So, what is your opinion?
