I've attempted bates method, however I just keep losing motivation. How do you guys keep your motivation?

Do some relaxation, positive thinking 10 min before practicing.
Set aside time to practice every day until you get some improvement, then practice can be less and regular Bates method correct use of the eyes is continued all the time. More time for practice as need.

It's kind of like golf - if you don't get a thrill out of hitting a little white ball with a weird stick so that the ball goes where you want it to go, then why play golf? Similarly, if you don't get a thrill from doing some Batesian method and experiencing a momentary flash of unassisted clear distance vision, then why do it?

I split this from another thread.

'Motivation' is a word that has a strange meaning and just causes confusion. It's like it references a concept that doesn't actually exist. What's really the problem? Is what you're doing not working? Do you get too easily distracted and avoid doing things towards your goals? You need to clarify, at least with yourself, what it is you're doing and why you're doing it or not doing it and why that makes sense.
