astigmatism in Photoshop
#1
Any Photoshop experts know how to simulate astigmatism in Photoshop CS5? Gaussian Blur works good for regular blur, but I'm trying to create a bit of a double image, with lines in one direction appearing darker.

I tried something there but the website says it won't allow me to post links?

If you go to Flickr and search for my account, TerraHurts, you'll see what I did Smile Not sure if you can search for people on it tho...failing that give me permission and I'll post them up here Smile

Great site here, seems more active than when I looked at it back in 2006, so thought I'd sign up. I'm a Myope myself with full faith in the method, but I'm very lazy :S

You can post links after 5 posts. But I found it

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/68690487@N05/6282872866/in/set-72157627857076453">http://www.flickr.com/photos/68690487@N ... 7857076453</a><!-- m -->

The straight, rather than curved, double images are more what I want, but I guess I can actually just add another layer in Photoshop with transparency and that will work.
