There were apparantly, a few people in Dr. Bates's practice that were going almost blind with their vision and after sitting, doing palming for 22 hours continously were able to fully regain their vision :o :o (i.e. they saw the last line of the eyesight test from 20 feet away).
Is this true?

I believe it to be true. However, the results are almost certainly not repeatable. That is, unless you both understand and are able to apply the principles as well as they did. The best I've heard for a cure within the last 20 years is about 3 years from glasses to none with I beleive it was -6 diopters.
