Vision story

Thanks Nini, I appreciate that. You've no idea how much it means to me to have the support, encouragement and recognition from at least someone. When you're told what you're doing is a waste of time and its all in your imagination if you can see better, it's really nice when someone acknowledges what you've done and what you've achieved instead of telling you to put your efforts into something else that they think is worthwhile.

It's funny to think of you having these similar results to me. I really feel alone in this seriously. I'm glad I got involved in this site. It makes me feel less alone somehow. You know when I read about Dr Bates and his wife I just think how caring they were. All those people they managed to help.

I think I'm getting closer and closer to my permanent cure. One thing I didn't mention which I think helped with finally setting my comp at a permanent small print was my new iPhone cos the print on it is tiny at times. Just before I made that final transition, I had been using my phone to read things on the Internet just at a comfortable reading distance for myself. I found it really relaxed my eyes and then when I went back to my laptop I could handle the regular print with no problem. Maybe that's what Bates was going on about. At first I thought the fine print was just helpful for longsightedness. I did notice prior to my transition that when I could cope with regular print on my comp my eyes stayed relaxed more than when I made it larger. Sometimes when I had increased the print I had to go on increasing it. So prob Bates is right when he said large print is a menace.
