Halos

Hello everyone, I wanted to post about this to see if anyone else has any experience with this phenomena. I can very easily see halos on all sorts of things if I look at it in the right way but I cannot yet see how this can improve my vision. Since what bates said is that we only imagine it, perhaps imagining it as an experience with the eyes closes can distract you from "straining"(honestly, this term does explain the phenomena, but perhaps we should come up with a better one as to not confuse people as much).

Anyone has any experience with this?
