centralization breakthrough, but need help

I just found out that I am able to centralize remarkably well when point to what I want to see. It's almost as if my eyes are further accomodating after pointing at an object. The phenomnon is reminescent of the pinhole glasses effect. Now how do I further develop this discovery so that I don't have to walk around pointing all day?

Yes, some of the vision authors mention this, and bemoan the facct that children who are learning to read are discouraged from pointing at the words and moving their finger along the line of print as they read. The idea is to focus your visual attention on a small area, and the finger-pointing helps you do this. Could you imagine a finger pointing, as training wheels to help, until you can do without it?
