Hello everyone!
I'm wondering if some of you'd like to tell me what you're doing to improve your vision?
1. How often are you training?
2. What practises are you doing?
3. What are you doing when you don't practise?
4. What condition do you have?
5. Are you seeing any improvement in visual acuity?

I thought it might be a good idea to know what others are doing, because then people can learn fron each other, I thought. Shame that this isn't world knowing. It's also intresting to know what other people do to improve their vision.

Hi,
welcome, you have come to the right place. Will try to answer the questions mentioned above.

1. How often are you training?
practice for an hour or just few minutes,
Its important to practice how much you feel comfortable with and easy to do, as the key to all of this is being mentally relaxed, Bates recommended in his works, for practicing 1 hour with the eye chart each day, this being greatly beneficial.

2. What practices are you doing?
there are many, such as, shifting, central fixation, palming, imagination, anything to avoid slipping into strain or trying to see etc... do what you can, which helps you the most.

3. What are you doing when you don't practice?
If you can do without glasses then avoid them. what to do when not practicing? well you have 3 choices:
1.) Bates says: 'All day long use your eyes right' this can be achieved when shifting and central fixation through practice, become easy as breathing.
2.) if the above can not be achieved, just spend your time when your not practicing, like a break, eyesight is not the primary goal. Live on as you would. Without Trying to see.
Dr Bates 'The eye with normal sight never tries to see. If for any reason, such as the dimness of the light, or the distance of the object, it cannot see a particular point, it shifts to another. It never tries to bring out the point by staring at it, as the eye with imperfect sight is constantly doing.'
3. ) This third and final type of a person is the one who you really don't want to be.
spending all day, thinking about the eyes, judging them etc...

4. What condition do you have?
People here have many eye disorders, however, the cure for all types, however is one, relaxation.

5. Are you seeing any improvement in visual acuity?
yes they do, however usually slower than they had liked.
