    Mind is primary cause of vision improvement.   
    Relaxed eye muscles are secondary, but equally important since the muscles, when relaxed, are the catalyst to accelerating vision improvement.
    Very tense eye muscles will make vision improvement extremely slow, but the greater the degree of relaxation, the quicker vision improvement will occur through mental imprints.
    It is proven that people memorize and learn better when relaxed than when they aren't.

    Refractive errors due to eye shape and lens accommodation are superseded by the mind.
    The mind can regulate visual acuity back to 20/20 or better when all physical components of the eyeball are present.
    This is done through muscular relaxation and visualization of an object appearing perfect.

Vision is in the mind not in the eyes, then you'll see how your sub-conscious mind wants to see, that is why continuous affirmations help a lot.

Wanting is something that help vision improvement.

To add that , not feeling the eyes or imagining the feeling of perfect eyes is another thing that really works. That is, opening the eyes and feeling them not feeling or very  light!!!

Exactly! Being interested in what you are looking at and being motivated are essential to perfect sight.

Yes, it's also a matter of learning how to not feel as if you're using your eyes to see, but simply 'seeing'.
