This may sound strange but after being in a hot bath or somewhere your eyes feel warmer? I need to try it out more to be sure but after a hot bath or hot drink my eyes seem slightly clearer. Could be my imagination but I've never noticed any improvement after any eye exercise tho that could be cos I've never done them long enough.

I have never had this sensation from drinking or tabbing a hot bath, I have however seen a slight improvement from sunning.

Maybe because whatever relaxes mind can help improve vision.  Bathing has very calming effect.   Remember it does not matter how many or how long you do techniques, goal is always to relax.

No you are not imagaining it.
The warmth helps to relax the eye muscles and therefore the eyeball starts to go back to its natural shape.  Meier Sfchneider said that in order to improve vision the eyes must be relaxed.
