Hillary Clinton is myopic
#1
I understand that she has some myopia, and it can also be seen through photos of her wearing glasses that the refraction must be somewhat strong. I wonder if anyone here has theories about, or whether they have been able to detect symptoms of, her nearsightedness.

Also, I understand that, if the personality may change as someone improves their eyesight, then the myopic personality must be prominent and affecting a persons day to day life (even if very subtly).

I think she still has tons of experience which couldn't hurt, but I can't help but wonder how she would be different if she were to return to normal vision. Thoughts?

They sure look like minus lenses to me. But there's something weird in them. People say it's a prism, which is for strabismus.

Myopia definitely isn't a good thing mentally... But there are a lot of other ways to make bad decisions. It's kind of a crapshoot in that department, IMO.

I don't want to get political about it and have people get defensive about their candidates, so just speaking in general - Experience in a job almost always is important... But in this case I see the system as set up to where experience and success has become synonymous with making secret deals with every person and type of entity imaginable, blackmailing, bullying, having friends everywhere to carry out your will, using government agencies as a weapon against opponents... It's how the system has evolved, and it's gotten way too easy to do that with technology. And it probably seems beautiful to someone who has spent their life in it and knows how to work it, just like someone is proud of putting all the pieces together to build a business. If the assigned power of all these top level elected people could be cut back somehow, digging up all the dirt on them wouldn't be such a spectacle and so important. It wouldn't be relevant for much beyond the gossip mags at the grocery store.

Maybe that WAS it (her myopia). Or, if she had had 20/20 her personality would have not inclined her to go after the presidency, in which case it could have been Bernie. It's so infinitely complex and amazing how such subtle things have such drastic consequences that I can't help but wonder that eyestrain had a play in this election.

Deception and insincerity is a quirk that myopia adds to the personality. People sensed that when she spoke, and it didn't inspire trust. She's a very good speaker, but still, people sensed it. With all the dirt that has come out exposing the truth behind various events in the world, the media, and our politicians, I think people have gotten more sensitive to being lied to by the person on TV. Then you have a guy who clearly prefers to speak spontaneously and had never used a teleprompter before, and the contrast is huge.
