I remember that when I first did palming for 30 minutes, I had a clear flash of 20/18 vision. How is that so?

Dear Otter,
That is because Bates was correct in that you
should look at your Snellen, do palming
and clear your vision to 20/20.

Palming is good to do before doing any work with the chart. Flashing is alternately palming and glancing at a letter on the chart.
