A certain individual male (not myself) is attempting to gain compensation from myself through the family court system. His claim is that these entitlements are needed because he cannot drive a car and cannot work. The reason stated is that he has extropia and has no depth perception.

He has a degree in the medical field and lives in a location where medical facilities, in which he could gain employment, are within easy walking distance. He has a valid driver's licence, regularly rides his bicycle through the town, occasionally drives a motorcycle, and has been witnessed participating in activities such as swimming, playing an instrument while sight-reading sheet music, mowing the grass and shoveling snow. He was recently seen walking into a court room with a blind cane then seen two days later riding his bicycle. He was also seen (recently) at a play where he was sitting 10-feet from the talent and was using binoculars. The blind cane and binoculars have only been seen since the actual legal proceedings were initiated.

If he does have extropia, and I am not doctor, then why can't he work? Why the blind cane and binoculars? If he has extropia then I'm guessing that he has had it is entire life and had no issue going to college and then working in his field until we decided to divorce. I work in finance and make more money than him, but he has the potential to make the same. However, he is trying to fool the system.

According to him he has 20/20 vision but his doctor says that he has no depth perception. I'm worried that he will prevail. I would use some advice.

Also, I understand that, if the personality may change as someone improves their eyesight, then the myopic personality must be prominent and affecting a persons day to day life (even if very subtly).

I think she still has tons of experience which couldn't hurt, but I can't help but wonder how she would be different if she were to return to normal vision. Just wanted to add that my vision doubles after some work and I am considering changing my job. So it's not a small thing. Please help if possible.

Do normal eyes operate like a stereo microscope?

For me I have very strong glasses.
I recall using the stereo microscope in class to see plant parts and insects.
Since there were two eye pieces for the stereo microscope I remember shifting the eye piece and the focus knob to make the specimen look more clear and 3D.

Yesterday before I went to sleep I looked at my blankets and pillows without my glasses, they were very close to my eyes about &t10 cm in distance, it felt a bit like looking through a stereo microscope where I brought the furry fibers into a 3D view. With my glasses on, at the same distance I did not feel such an interesting/cool effect.

1. I didn't change my old glasses yet, I don't like them and I want to get new ones but I'm not doing financially good right now to do it (I had some serious problems lately).

Now what I noticed is when I look at straight lines they're not that straight, they're just a little curvy.
Sorta like looking through a fish eye lens but they're not that curvy just a little (even barely noticed).

I don't know what caused me this, is it the big screen I use for work (My computer has a 32 inch screen) or my old glasses that I didn't change for two years now (That I didn't like since day 1), they're a little curvy too, they don't look right.

I'm a graphic designer so it is a problem to me. Also I am planning to change my glasses within the next week / two weeks max.

Please help me out I'm afraid to death! Huh

But try to not fill in the +-0, i.e. neutral choices because the test will not be that good then.

For instance you can do the test when you begin training the vision and lets say when you see improvements you can do the test again and see how your personality changes.

For me personally I am no longer afraid of things, no worries, and I have become more social because I am more comfortable with myself as I am more relaxed nowadays. The imagination, daydreaming, thinking abilities has of course also improved and that affects my personality as well.

Once I thought personality was written in stone and you simply could not change it, I felt sad due to this, but that for sure I know now is not true.
In fact the personality varies a lot and it depends on how tired you are for instance, that is how well you have slept. If you sleep one hour less you get 5% less salary. Smile

So that means the biology affects our personality.

It is interesting to read some about this, and I think some people here on this forum would like to do that test to see what they could improve and what they actually should do. Yes ?
