from the above mentioned site: "Eyesight is truly a miracle of nature's creation. In short, poor eyesight, according to actual experience, can be corrected by strengthening the eye muscles through eye exercises, good reading habits, proper nutrition and overall improvement of health."

We can see from this quote that these pages should be taken with a grain of salt. In other words, they have completely missed Bates' point about eye strain, relaxation and the fact that the obliques are already many times stronger than they need to be. What ev'! I don't mean to dismiss everything there just the bulk of it. Big Grin

I have also started a blog because in the beginning I couldn't find any online: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://batescommunity.blogspot.com/">http://batescommunity.blogspot.com/</a><!-- m -->. It is about eye therapies but also eye floaters as I suffer from that as well.

I successfully got rid of my floaters from using n-acetylcarnosine eye drops.
I had really bad ones after usinga lot of medication in one eye. After using the drops
they were gone in no time. They are expensive though.
Other things that might help floaters is Dr. Christopher's cayenne herbal eyewash.

I have had floaters since being hit in the face, head 7 times, 10 years ago.
Bates method, shifting, central fixation and food diet clears them up, but if i get lazy, don't do these things, floaters come back, a little, not too much.

What is n-acetylcarnosine?
What does it do? How does it remove floaters? Opens up, clears up circulation and/or breaks up the floater?
I don't want to use a drug?
Is this a natural food like product?

Same question for the cayenne herbal eyewash.
Cayenne = peppers? Like in pepper spray?
I hear this pepper is good for some things but it burns my stomach.
Hiliary Clinton says she eats them.

Do you have a web site link for info on these and where to buy?
Thanks, Clark

The http://www.curezone.com/blogs oriental site has alot of good treatments but while skimming over it I found some things I disagree with;
The writer advises reading by looking at the white spaces between sentences, not at the black print.
This is a partial truth;
Looking at the white spaces, not the print, when reading is diffusion, blocks central fixation and causes strain, blur.

Bates taught; to look at, see and imagine the white spaces between sentences whiter than the outer areas and margins of the white page, (Do this with the eyes open, closed, open.)
To see the bright thin white line under sentences and to see the white glow, halo around letters and inside letters on the white page close to the edge of the black print.
But, then he says; when the white is imagined, seen perfect, the black print is perfect black and clear, then the person looks at the print to read it, at first in quick flashes, then when the vision remains clear the eyes can read the print for a long time.
The white line, glow, halos... will still appear in the periferal field.
If you want to look at it, that is ok but dont try to see both the white glow and black letters at the same time in the central field.
If you want to look directly at the glow, shift to it, place it in the center of the viusal field.
To see a object clear; look at it, place it in the center of the viusal field - central fixation.
Move the center of the visual field along the black print when reading.

Hi Clark.

Yikes. you were hit in the face 7 x ? Were you a Rocky Bilboa when you were younger ?

n-acetylcarnosine is a antioxidant and supposed to kill the free radicals, toxins and nourish the eye..
I'm on curezone.com quite often (its just a huge site for EVERYTHING) and I read there once that
it was thought that those floaters were actually parasites. Whether they are or not, I don't know,
but the n-acetylcarnosine eyedrops for sure took all mine away and I had quite big ones. My eye
was damaged, as well, so it may have been 50 % infection / 50% medication..
So,yeah, nac is an antioxidant and not a drug and one can use it their whole life, if desired.
I was told by my optometrist that my retinas were really really healthy. I think that's the nac and
if I'm not mistaken (correct me if I'm wrong) that if one has say a retinal detachment they will
see a lot of floaters..? so I"m thinking if my retinas became more healthy then that was why
my floaters went away.. The 2 best nac products are Nu-Eyes and Can-C. I have used them
both and both are the original ingredients formulated by the Russian inventor .. Most
of the websites charge about the same price.. I guess they got to be competetive..
Most of them are all in the UK roo.. none in the States ( At least I haven't come across you
may want to google yourself). The website I bought from was <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.bionational.com">http://www.bionational.com</a><!-- m --> and
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.antiagingsystems.com">http://www.antiagingsystems.com</a><!-- m -->.

I used to use Dr. Christopher's cayenne herbal tea eyewash. I did it for about 2 months. My eyes just
glowed and I saw things more sharply, colours were more vibrant. I gave up because of the
burning and tearing of my eyes.. I always looked like I had been crying. But looking back I put
too much cayenne in the formula too soon too fast (it didn't hurt me). I should have started
more slowly and built up a tolerance. Because I didn't I ditched it. I may someday take it
up again.

You are right.. the cayenne is very good for you. Good for your heart and circulation. It's
in the Austrian Strauss tincture formula (with garlic, hawthorn, mistletoe etc) that is
supposed to clear out clogged arteries etc and 'cure' high blood pressure, thus preventing strokes and heart attacks,
I know on the bottle it talks about burning in the stomach. It says to go it slowly too and build up a tolerance.
On the other hand you may be allergic to it.. it's hard to say because everyone is so different...

Thanks itsme!
You know alot about natural health treatments.
I would like to learn more.
Where did you learn this good stuff?
I'll check out the websites.
Floaters cure!!! Eye doctors sure dont want this info. to get out!

Yes, lived a wild life when young, hitchhiking across country, drinking beer in dangerous bars, railroad tracks...
Dangerous people out there.
People would be surprised how many bad guys are right in their own home town, church, authorities.

I will try the cheyenne again. I miss it in my burrito when I visit California.

Hi Clark.

Well your wild days are certainly over as you are a Bates master now!

I feel like I don't know that much..there are much smarter people than me for sure . I have just gleaned off of other peoples
testimonies and been open to all the alternative things that are available, mostly all through curezone.com,earthclinic.com and mercola.com. I have spent a lot of time googling too, like on a particular ailment or condition, and then kind of weeding through all the different ideas ..

Are you going to use the cayenne again orally (except for that burrito ! ) or in your eye ? I made the tea eyewash myself
but when I stopped I was left with 5 or 6 BULK bags of herbs. Now I would just buy Dr. Christopher's formula in the
bottle. I think it's an extract/tincture and you control how many drops you use..

To itsme,
I think I might try the acetylcarnosine first.
Still have to check it out on the web sites today.
Floaters have not bothered me for a while but if I stare and look for them I will see them.
I like mercolas site but got mad at him for placing Bates original book on his site and other websites without Dr. Bates name on it.
I sent him a e-mail and told him he's disrespecting Dr.Bates. Maybe he will add Bates name to the book. I hope so.

I want to tell itsme that she is a very brave person for hanging in there during all the eye injury problems and I admire her for learning the Bates method to improve her condition.
Please write your whole story; how injury happened, your treatments from the eye doctor and natural treatments, Bates method and your improvement. process...
If it is already on this site, on a few different pages, please post page list.

Thanks, Clark
