OK, great! Can you take a brief break when you feel this kind of strain and palm? Can you look in a relaxed way instead of straining, even though what you're looking at is blurry at first? Blur can be anxiety-provoking, and putting on strong glasses to mask it is a short-term "fix" that leads to stronger glasses. This awareness of yours is helping you realize what's actually going on with your vision so you can do something different now. Good for you.
