Try wearing your -1.75 glasses for reading only,and get some +1.75 over the counter readers,and wear them for distance,for a few hours each day.

There is no formula that I know of,but one is not needed,as all medical books show charts that show worldwide study results. These results are approximate,but roughly are one diopter per ten foot mark...
