kim peeks extraordinary memory

Recently I seen a t.v special about a man named kim peeks.He read books with amazing speed and he remembered it perfectly the first time he read it.He had photo like memory.He also wears glasses.What I don't understand is how does he were glasses and still has great memory? Perfect memory=persfect relaxation which = perfect sight. Can someone explain this to me the best they can?? Google or youtube his name to find out about him.Thank you in advance

i saw him in some tv program.
fact , he is got perfect memory. I saw , he can do fast reading but not photoreading. The perfect memory in this case because he got some crash in his mind. This is handicap people
