Legally Blind?

This is a bit confusing to me, I've searched this and most sites say "anyone with vision worse than 20/200 that cannot be improved with corrective lenses is considered legally blind."

So if 20/200 is with lenses, is there a number without? i.e., seeing less than 20/600 without glasses?

No. In legal terms if your vision is correctable by glasses to 20/200 then you aren't "legally" blind. Meaning, you don't qualify for whatever services or exemptions blind people qualify for.

No. Legal blindness is never defined by vision without glasses. Legal blindness is due to damage to the eyes or the visual system from trauma, disease or disorder. If your only problem is needing glasses then, no matter how strong the glasses, if you can see well with glasses you are not legally blind.
