A Start for Beginners

There seem to be a lot of beginners popping up asking the same questions regarding where to start and what to do and what is the Bates Method. Should we add a Forum Section just for Beginners where we give the essential background like the link for Bates' book and suggestions on what they can start doing immediately? I realize this info is all over the Forum but I think a specific tab for 'BEGINNERS' would help them alot when they first arrive here.

Yep, good idea. Some basic stuff has gotten so old to me that I've forgotten that beginners don't know it.

Alternatively, we could also compile this basic information and have it stickied in one of the forums. I'm sure that that would help out a lot. Even I don't have enough time these days to go scavenging through old threads.
