Applying heat

I was wondering what everyone had to say about applying heat to the eyes to relax the muscles. Sometimes, no amount of palming or anything can fully relax my eyes, so I resort to using a heat pack for about 5 minutes, and it helps completely relax my eyes. It's a little uncomfortable to hold it there, so I did a little search and came across a website that sells eye warmers, designed by an optometrist to help dry eyes. What does everyone have to say about that?
