Nearsightedness with glasses for reading at a young age.

Hi,

I was working with my girlfriend for about half a year. She has a rare problem. She had glasses for distance and for reading too (both minuses).

L eye: distance: -2.25 cyl -1
          reading : -1.25 cyl -1

R eye: distance: -1.75 cyl -1.25
          reading : -0.75 cyl -1.25

Now she is able to see without strain from the first line in the class (about 2-3 meters, quite big letters) and read from 30 cm.
However, she still has problems with fast reading and copying from the board (changing distance).

How can I help her with those problems?
