Hi all,

I was looking through the links on my blog and discovered that the link to the central-fixation.com website doesn't work anymore. Previously one could find free digital copies of Bates magazines, a great *free* resource.
Anyone know what happened to it?

Maybe he forgot to pay his webhosting bill.

Recently, before his site closed he was getting alot of hate mail, harrassment on his guestbook.
Definitely seemed like someone was trying to close his site down.
One optometrist was on there argueing against Bates method, very rude.
Some of us made disk copies of his entire site, all magazines.
I have copies free if any one wants them if his site does not reopen.
For now i am waiting for him to reopen the site.
Maybe he is doing upgrade.
Hope he was not forced to close by businesses selling eye surgery, glasses.

Well nobody has ever even hinted at trying to get this site shut down. Go figure. There have been a few problem people over the years, but with anyone like that it's just a matter of not playing their game.

Anyway, it could also be a server problem. I did a whois and 10,000 other sites are/were hosted on that IP, which is insane. My website gets affected by a problem at my webhost at least once every several months (besides very short outages), but I check things almost daily and notice it pretty quick.

Edit: Oh, it looks like a nameserver problem. Those ads in place of his site are from his registrar, which would explain a couple things. Who knows what happened. Guess we'll wait and see!
