Bates also said that hypnosis doesn't work because you are under strain in hypnosis. Nevertheless, I think hypnosis in those days could've been a lot different from what it is today.

Well, now that I think of it, corneal bulge is a bitch. That might explain what my friend told me. Her myopia was getting better when she used hard contacts, but after they got forbidden her condition...
