I have used pinholes for all my computer work for about a year now, when you forget they are there you see like normal like with maybe some small artifacting of ghosting from the holes. :)

I really do think strain is my problem. Even now the back of my eyes are sore due to them feeling like they wanna escape my head. I also have the problem that any relaxation exercise actually stresses...

What your saying seems incredibly dire, when my eye doctor at the hospital told me it was very common and nothing to really worry about.
