Wow. I don't know what to say, except that I believe there is a lot more to this problem (nearpoint fixation disorder, or in your case, latent nearpoint fixation disorder) than any individual's paltry...

That's interesting; I don't know if I believe it completely - maybe the baby's eyes don't shift as much because they've received the antibiotic eye treatment! If the infant's vision is purposely blur...

Thanks for an excellent and insightful post, clarknight. I don't have any similar color phobias, but did have to overcome a slight spider/ant/creepycrawly phobia which definitely helped my eyesight.
