There's rarely any difference in .25 diopters up or down in day-to-day use. I and my eye doctor agreed that i should use -1.5 contacts, and then contact the optician as soon as i see clearly with them...

Yeah, if the settings were correctly set. I should maybe precise that no letters beyond 20/100 or so were clear, but i was able to get the character never the less. If i should summerize my experience...

Good work. It's a noirmal sign and isn't dangerous. However, it will take some time before it will last. How long i can't say myself either, sadly. :(
