Evan, I'm envious that you've been wearing glasses since age 11 and you only had an Rx of 1-1.5 diopters. Mine went out to 4.25 before I came across the Bates method. I'm getting by with 1.75 nowadays...

Not sure what you mean by "axis change" but you can't just change the axis of the cylinder in your prescription. You could lower the cylinder power but not the axis angle.
