I haven't put my progress into paper yet because I don't 'see' any significant improvements yet, although I've had quite a few flashes since the start of the year and it encourages me a lot =)

Sean, I also use the snellen as a relaxation tool. Looking at something familiar relaxes me somehow. I think Dr. Bates called them optimums? ;D

Sorry to hear that. Perhaps stay away from dark, unfrequented areas? Anyway, I can see you're a newbie. May I know what method you've been doing the most? I'd say that shifting works best for me.

Is it okay to squeeze your eyes (as in closing your eyes so tight) and opening them really wide? It's sort of like working the muscles around your eyes. Would it be harmful?
